The State Theatre recently partnered with Boraie Development to offer the New Jersey residents the Free Summer Movies Series. The Provident Bank Foundation was also involved in the series as one of its sponsors. The theatre showed six entertaining movies, and they include Despicable Me 2, Aladdin, Babe, the Extra-Terrestrial, Monster University, and Frozen. The event offered an opportunity for people to watch movies with their families, summer camps, and friends. State Theatre has been operational since 1921 the residents of New Jersey consider it as a historical place. The VP of Boraie Development, Hiam Boraie, stated that the real estate development giant is happy to sponsor the series that brought together people from different parts of the city to enjoy movies at the State Theatre.
The Provident Bank Foundation was represented by its executive director, Jane Kurek. She said that the bank was glad to sponsor the free movies that have united families from different backgrounds at the State Theatre. The two benefactors of the series have also been supporting the Community Access Initiative. The free summer movies were created with the aim of offering the city residents family-friendly entertainment. More than 7500 individual managed to be part of the Free Summer Movies Series.
