Portland, Oregon’s Sawyer Howitt Leaps onto the National Racquetball Scene

A young Portland, Oregon man has started to turn the heads in the world of Racquetball. Lincoln High School racquetball star Sawyer Howitt has been playing in association with the Portland Racquet Club and has steadily improved his game to a level worthy of notice on the national scene.

Howitt established his presence during the Oregon High School Racquetball State Championships. While he did not win the 2015 trophy, he played an outstanding match against upper-classman Eric Poppleston. Howitt has the skills to be a viable contender in a number of 2017 events on the Oregon Racquetball schedule.

Howitt frequently matches up with 2015 National doubles finalists Gavin Usher and John Curley, both fellow students at Lincoln High School. Howitt’s game has steadily matured to where he may soon find himself marked as another representative from the Racquet Club of Portland, ready to surface on the National Racquetball rankings.
